I am happy to share this week a few more nominations I received from some of my good blogger friends.
I am always thrilled to receive such nominations, because it makes me feel that my blog is visible, and the material I put out there is being read and appreciated by my peers. In my opinion, that is one of the best feelings for a creator of any kind.

I received the 6th nomination by one of my favourite friends, who has always been supportive of my work, Sandy (Sunday Morning with Sandy).
Through the posts of her blog, she shares her life story. The experiences she has been through in life and the lessons she’s learned. You will be moved, inspired, and amazed by everything you will read there.
My 7th nomination was by the lovely Spencer (The Mindberg). She is a mental health blogger whose blog is full of information, from life hacks and self care tips to neuroscience and psychology. And she has such a fun way of expressing her thoughts; I mean, just take a look at her about page!
And the 8th nomination was by one of my good blogger friends, Catherine (Shatter The Silence/A Life Given To Me). She is a quite skilled writer and poet. On her blog, she is sharing her life story in some raw and emotional pieces of writing.
About the Award

How My Blog Started
Well, I feel I have talked about this too many times that I have probably bored everyone already. So I will just link to where you can read about it if you want to.
Two Pieces of Advice For New Bloggers
There are plenty of things that you should pay attention to as a new blogger. But two of the most important things that I feel has affected me as a blogger the most so far are the following.
1. Connections and networking.
As a beginner blogger, you should aim at networking and getting to know more bloggers in the community. You will not realize how important it is to have good blogger friends until you are actually in a situation where you need help or advice.
Networking is also important because you learn a lot just by talking and interacting with other bloggers, both experts and new, there is something to learn from everyone.
And when you build connections with other people, they will start paying attention to you and your work; so the more people you know, the more exposure you and your blog can get.
2. Finding motivation.
It is important to have some sort of a plan for when you no longer feel like blogging, because you will get that feeling a few times along the way; especially early on when the views & interactions are low. But just because you “don’t feel like it” that doesn’t mean you should stop.
What you should do is find a way to motivate yourself back into it. Blogging is a long-term thing. It will take months (or even years) of blogging before it can start paying off.
Of course, how long it takes will also depend on many factors, such as your niche, posting frequency, etc. But in general, it does take long, so you should be prepared for when you go through those moments and learn how to get over them and keep moving.

Congratulations on another award Ray
I still can’t believe someone noticed my content so much to go ahead and nominate me for an award :’) Thank you so, so much, Ray!
Your blog is an inspiration to me because I, just like you, am pursuing financial freedom. What you say on your other post about wanting to show the process from the beginner’s perspective is exactly what I have in mind as well.
Thanks again.
I’ll work on my award post and nominations this week!
Cheers,
EmJay – aimlief
